Fr. Simon Borges the Parish Priest of St. Michael Church has kept me informed regarding recent developments in connection with the Marinagar Property.
I was surprised and saddened to hear that the 108 tenants housed in the five buildings owned by the Church i.e. Nirmala Building, Mahim Mata Building, Nitya Sahaya Building, Fatima Building and Arogya Mata Buiding, have felt that their residences are in jeopardy.
I want to assure all the families living in these five buildings owned by the Church that the Church is with them and we will do our best to ensure that they are not dis-housed.
I have already discussed this matter with the Parish Priest, Fr. Simon Borges who is also the Trustee of the Church Property and given appropriate directions.
