This year, the rains have come late, and so far, have not been abundant. Water is very essential for our needs. God blesses us with rainwater every year. We pray that this year too, we may have an abundance of rain and also be saved from any flooding.
I request that the following prayer be said daily after Mass, and on the weekends, an intention for this be added in the Prayers of the Faithful.

PRAYER FOR RAIN
O God, in whom we live and move and have our being, grant us sufficient rain, so that being supplied with what sustains us in this present life, we may seek more confidently what sustains us for eternity. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
